    MY LONGEST 30-MINUTES DRIVE

Around 12:30am Friday(the 26th) morning,i was driving along NPExpressway. There were three others with me, my wife, a family-friend and a mother-to-be.Wait, hold on... a mother-to-be? Yep!
Good heavens!Actually we were on our way to Ampang Puteri Hospital coz sis Ain (the mother-to-be)is ready to roll...err i mean.. is about ready to give birth.
While driving, 1001 thoughts gushing into my head. What if she can't wait and have to deliver there and then in the car (like those we often watch in the film or tv dramas? What if anything unfortunate happened while we were rushing to the hospital, will the husband or family ever forgive me for that? How will she handle her ordeal in the delivery room since her husband is away (overseas) due to job commitment?
Despite all these fears, Alhamdulillah we arrived safely at the hospital (after a long, cautious 30 minutes drive) and she was wheeled whiskly to the 3rd floor - Labour & Delivery Department.

Around 9.30am on the same day i received a call from my wife, yep the good news is out! Ain dah bersalin!Hurray!!.. i was so enthralled. My wife was in the delivery room with Ain during the precious moment i.e welcoming the beautiful gift from Allah swt - a baby girl!

I received later an sms (from another family-friend)congratulating me for becoming a "grandpa". Haha...that was funny..but hey! i don't mind. You can call me Abang Bad, Uncle Bad or even Grandpa Bad, all i know is that i'm proud and honoured to be associated with a group of young muslimah whom are very humble, honest, dedicated, willing-to-learn/listen and motivated (despite against-all-odds) in upholding the Deen-ul-Islam. Thanks to all. And to you Ain, you ARE a SUPERCOOL mom!!
